THE BRAESIDE LOVE BAR – TERMS & CONDITIONS
We’re here to make your day effortless and unforgettable. To help everything run seamlessly, here’s an easy overview of how our service works.
By accepting a quote and paying any fees to secure your booking with The Braeside Love Bar, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions in full. These conditions form a legally binding agreement between you and The Braeside Love Bar, a service operating under The Braeside Love Collective.
We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The most current version will be included with your quote.
Booking Your Date
Your date is secured once a 50% non-refundable deposit and signed agreement are received.
Final payment is due 1 calendar month prior to your event.
Bookings made within 4 weeks of the event date require full payment upfront.
Drinks & Beverage Supply
Clients supply all alcohol, mixers, soft drinks, and bottled water unless otherwise arranged.
Water is available at the bar for service use but is not sufficient for guest hydration.
We recommend a minimum of 3 bottles of water per guest (double where temperatures exceed 32 degrees).
For events over 80 guests, a cool room is strongly recommended.
Bar Service
All drinks are served by our RSA-certified staff only.
We can serve bottled drinks, beer on tap, wine, champagne, spirits, and cocktails.
Cocktail service must be booked in advance and may incur additional costs.
Lost or broken glassware is charged at $3 per item.
Responsible Service
We strictly follow RSA laws and may refuse service to intoxicated guests or anyone without valid ID.
Self-service of alcohol is not permitted at any time while we are on site. All alcohol is to be in the possession of the bar, any individuals that bring their own alcohol are required to relinquish all alcohol to the bar staff until the end of the event, where it will be handed back.
Guest Numbers
Final guest numbers are required 4 weeks prior to your event.
Last-minute increases may result in additional charges or service delays.
Access & Setup
We require safe, clear access at least 2 hours before service.
Our bar must be placed on a flat, stable surface with towing access.
Power access is needed for refrigeration (generator available for hire).
Weather
A gazebo can be supplied if required.
Weather decisions are made on the day for safety.
Public Holiday Surcharge
A 20% surcharge applies on public holidays, Christmas Eve/Day and New Year’s Eve.
Cancellations & Date Changes
Deposits are non-refundable.
Cancellations within 12 weeks: 50% of total fee payable
Within 4 weeks: 100% payable
Date changes incur a $250 rebooking fee (subject to availability)
Photos & Social Media
You’re welcome to tag us, and you grant permission for us to use images of the bar for promotion.
